Empowering self-reliance and mental health recovery
A recovery coach supports people with psychosocial disabilities, which can result from mental health conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or anxiety disorders (e.g., PTSD, OCD). If you have a psychosocial disability, you may struggle with goal-setting, planning, or engaging in social or work activities.
A recovery coach works with you, your family, carers, and other support services on your personal recovery journey. While similar to support coordination, a recovery coach focuses deeply on building skills for self-reliance, helping you gain confidence and control over your life.
Our recovery coaches are trained professionals with lived experience. They build trusting relationships to support your recovery, matching you with a coach who respects your values and preferences.
